Florida Food Truck Plumbing Requirements

 

 

Most trucks that are going to be considered self sufficient will require a three compartment sink and hand wash sink that functions with water above 110 degrees. Gray water tanks must exceed fresh water tank capacity by 15%. There are no minimum tank sizes. 

 

Pro tip: if you're running short on power in your truck or trailer you may be able to install a propane hot water heater instead of a traditional electric hot water heater. This usually saves you 12-14 amps! Amps are like gold if you didn't know. That means you can use a heat lamp, AC unit or something else in its place.
