Tarpon Springs is always a great place for Tampa Bay Food Truck Rally to visit but on August 17th there will be a little extra excitement to make it a can't miss event for you and your friends. That is because the August edition of the Tarpon Springs Food Truck Rally will be a part of HippieFest
HippieFest was started last year in Tarpon Springs and marked the anniversarry of Woodstock. It was so well received that they decided to make it an annual event. Tarpon Springs Merchants Association sponsors the event as part of their efforts to promote and bring events to town to help bring people to Tarpon and help the local businesses.
The event is expected to draw 4000-6000 people and will include live music by The Defendants and Ron and the Classics. Another great attraction will be artist Chris Kuster who paints with his teeth. Volkswagen enthusiasts can check out the docks where thre will be a collection of Love Bugs and more cars sponsored by VW of New Port Richie.
When you get hungry be sure to make your way to Tarpon ave to enjoy some of your favorite food trucks, including Alaska Mike's Yukon Fry Bread, Burger Culture, Der WurstWagen, Disco Donuts, Dochos, Dub and Jimbo's, Dude and His Food, Hott mess, Jimmy Meatballs, Just Smokin BBQ, LizzieCakes, Lucia's Gelato, Mike's Off The Hook, Nico's Arepas Grill, Renny's Oki Doki, Rollin Zoinks, Tasty Stacy and Whatever Pops.
